    Lincolnway Body Shop has been family owned and operated in New Lenox, IL since 1965. Pam and Bill McCauley, owners, have been in the auto related business for a combined total of 53 years and live in the area.  The 9,000 square foot facility was designed with the assistance of engineers in the auto collision industry focusing on utilizing all space to the best of its ability.  The shop has ample work areas and features "drive through" capabilities including large overhead doors which simplifies the maneuverability of buses, motor homes, commercial vehicles and even fire trucks.  A separate estimating room is provided so that a vehicle could be viewed inside in inclement weather.

    Our facility boasts of two Chief frame machines and a Chief Genesis laser measuring system for fast, but accurate turn around time.  A "Dupont" computerized refinishing system aides in our expert, guaranteed color match.   Our shop doesn't stop at collision repair. We feature the latest in air conditioning equipment with ASE certified technicians, and Hunter digital imaging alignment equipment.  

    We are proud to say that our technicians have passed the difficult I-CAR welding course and are certified. (Click here for employment opportunities.) In addition, they attend all ATEG classes to keep informed as to the new model changes and enhancements.  We have had I-CAR Gold Status since 1996. (See Excellence Standards)

     The collision and repair equipment we have to our disposal is above and beyond other shops. Our Spray bake paint booth with bake oven has the capability to bake the finish, expediting the painting procedure and providing a better lasting finish. Our painters are well educated with the computerized technology of the paint system and frequently attend industry seminars.                                                              

    Something else you should know, our staff is knowledgeable with the claims handling process.  They are also available to assist customers with pick-up, delivery and rental car information.  For your piece of mind, we offer a "lifetime" warranty for the repairs of vehicles.

    No one likes to frequent a collision repair shop; but keep in mind that at Lincolnway Body Shop, we take the time to help you step by step through the entire repair process.  Our expert technicians; friendly, knowledgeable staff; and convenient hours of service have helped make us the "oldest", most well respected shop in the area for collision and body repair.
